Do you feel that 'life' is 'sacred'? If so, which life? Whose life?

Background to this question---I was driving home from the post office, going down a residential street, speed limit 35mph, when a black, huge, gas guzzling pick-up truck zoomed up behind me, suddenly tore around and passed me on a bridge (2 lane street) narrowly missing an on-coming car and causing me to swerve off the shoulder on the far side of the bridge. The license plate said 'Choose Life', a popular special plate in my state that is anti-abortion and frankly illegal but that is another story. I then followed the truck into a maga church parking lot to get the numbers off the plate to call the police. A woman calmly got out and started unloading folding chairs, apparently for a church function and was oblivious to me.

Which life is she choosing as more sacred than any other? Not mine obviously! Thanks for allowing me to share this with you and I accept all comments.

ALL LIFE IS PRECIOUS, except to some!

Being a Christian isn't easy, many trials come with it and many hardships will follow. It's rather ironic that a religion which so publicly proclaims Absolute Love as its basis should, over the course of history, spawn so much unmitigated hatred and violence. Is it simply that Christianity is a failure in inspiring better conduct from otherwise hopelessly evil human beings, or is there some aspect of Christianity which in fact encourages or promotes some of the baser aspects of human behavior? Perhaps it is a bit of both.

I feel all life is "sacred" and important..... but i'm not christian so....

So based on that incident you have concluded that life is not sacred? I disagree.

I am sure they are the same people that choose life by bombing abortion clinics.

1) She was wrong.
2) She stands for not murdering innocents. This is noble.
3) She made a mistake in judgment while driving. I am willing to bet that if she was given the option of killing you or not, she would choose not.

Since we are all created in the image of God we should respect all life. Killing unborn babies is just as bad if not worse then killing any other born human. They don't have a voice. They did nothing wrong to you. I can't believe that people would even do some thing so cruel and immoral.

Guess we'll just have to take your word for it. And if it's true, you did the right thing by calling the police.

All life is sacred, in my opinion. Though I have a very hard time showing respect for someone who has such little respect for life in general. I would have said something to her.

why are you so worried? You just answered that you can see "death" in people and your never wrong...so..You new you wouldn't die.
