If Microsoft buys Yahoo will you stick with Yahoo?

I don't know about you but I never used anything other than OS and Office by Microsoft. Occasionally use IE but now mostly Mozilla. I never did use MSN search page and I think Microsoft would be tempted too much to tinker to the point where Yahoo would lose user (market) share. What do you think? What will you do?

No Microsoft would never buy Yahoo. It would be very detrimental to their web aspirations if they do. Killing the No.2 would only make sure that more and more people flock towards Google (instead of MSN) thereby expanding the margin between Google and Microsoft. The reason is that if people are not using MS's products today, why would they use them tomorrow?
So the 3 big guys will stay put by eating any small guy who strays into their horizon.

Why not?? Nothing is impossible to happen, this is just another business transaction which is speculated heavily before it was happened. Watch out, it might announce next week, next year .... Report It

yes

i will buy...microsoft...so i will get both microsoft and yahoo :)

No way, as most people I like some things because they are not microsoft... and that includes linux, google, yahoo, wadooa.com and others.

As soon as microsoft buy a company, I go to another place, and that will apply to yahoo if they are bought.

If microsoft buys everything there will be nothing interesting on the web.

p.s microsofts will buy wadooa?

Absolutely not. Microsoft destroys everything they touch. I already pretty much only use Google now anyway, but I certainly would leave Yahoo! if Microsoft merged with it.

p.s. Although they're in talks, I don't think they'll end up merging.

I would not!
Microsoft has too much of a hold on software and now they want to get a hold of the web.
They already have hotmail and msn search, why duplicate it by purchasing yahoo?
I have a yahoo mail account and a hotmail account, and speaking from personal experience yahoo is more user and visually friendly than hotmail.
Plus what would they call it?
Microsoft Yahootmail?

Definitely . . All Hail Bill Gates

No. I already have google for email and can get news feeds from anywhere.
