Has any one encountered a situation like this? |
I've been seperated for a year, she has moved boyfriend and three other grown adults in since december, and stated she wanted the house, ok, so I gave her back the mortgage book and I have a lawyers appoint. tommorrow to go ahead with the divorce but today I recieved a letter from another attorny's office stating that the house is going to be forclosed because they haven't made a payment since june, Keep in mind I kept all the bills paid up and gave her money on top of that up until july, I know the lawyer will tell me where I stand tommorrow but just for the sake of knowing now does anybody have a similar experience and will you share, thanks I do not know what to say accept for the sake of your credit make sure that you pay what you can and let them forclose on the house and make her move out and you can just go on with your life. It seems that you are a real nice guy and do not deserve what you got served. There are 5 people in that house and it should not even be close to forclosure so save yourself now so that you can find a wonderful woman who deserves your kidness. Good luck sweetheart. you really think anyones gonna read that entire novel you just typed out? i read the first line and it gave me a headache. either way, the answer is NO. go make a payment and kick her out!!!!! Say bye bye to your credit score. Your name is on the mortgage and you will get screwed out of the whole deal. I hope you have a good lawyer. Unless the title was transferred solely into your ex's name, you are liable for the payments. You may be able to contact the bank and make arrangements to avoid foreclosure (I suggest doing that immediately). no, but I'd say get a good lawyer, good luck what you could do is update all the bills and keep all reciepts. when it comes down to the end she will have to buy your 1/2 of the house. now have you moved out? i hope so because now you can prove that you did not reside there from this date to that date. which means that even after you moved out you paid her bills which means that she will owe you your 1/2 of the house plus the bills that she did not pay and you did. good luck and i hope you really stick it to her in the end. she sounds like a real b**** Do you have any of your statements/receipts saved up to prove you have been making payments up until this point? If you do then I suggest you dig them up. You're going to need it. |
