How abt RAKS!!! (rand acts of kindness)?

Pls share your story and tips abt RAKS???
Here is mine:
I thought with this world filled with hate and terriorism, what if each one of us starts doing random actso of kindness ( instead of random acts voilence going all over the world)?
- Say hello/ "good day" to a stanger?
yes, small things like this I believe will change the world for better.
I think if every one starts doing these random acts of kindness whole world will be a better place to live ( and then people will stop killing each other ...I hope!).
So for starter I did mine today and was very nice to a Cingular rep on the phone and he was extremely helpful in return , instead of he saying "have a nice day" I told him " have a nice day"
I did call up 911 twice to help stranded cars on the way back from office ....and gave as accrate detals as I can so HELP could arrive!
So got the idea...what are we waiting for... instead of Christains /Muslims etc saying "My religion is better than YOURS " or "Mine is THE relegion"...

Come to Nj/NY and it is a different world most people are in a hurry to make money and very busy with life and forgotten the basic couteasoness of life. So no offense to anyone .. was talking from my day today experience at NJ/NY area! Sorry if I offended you in any way....I am realy sorry that was not my intention..many aplogies....

No offense but if it is now considered a RAK to say hi to people, wish people a good day, and call for help when people need it, this is a much sadder world we're living in than I realized. Maybe it's just how I was raised or a Midwestern thing but those are things that as a person you should just do. I always say my please and thank yous, hold doors open for people, wish customer service people good days, etc.
