How to access my hard disk from any were in the world ?

i want to access my hard disk from my office or any other place. i also want my friends to access my hard disk . i also want to share files with my friends, tell me best software in this buisness.

Or you can just download and install MSN Netmeeting for free and use that to do remote desktop sharing...but that requires you to install the same program to the computer you're at.

pcanywhere will let you remote into your desktop from wherever you are, but I think there is some set up you need to do to the computer you are using to remote into your own computer.

In any case, there are no programs that will allow you to remote into your desktop using the browser unless you have a special software installed but they require you to purchase it.

Install RealVNC, a free software that allows you to communicate directly with your desktop.

There are many things that u can use. GoToMyPc is a great tool for actually remotely using the entire computer as if a loca one. U can also use the Remote desktop (windows) or VNC for other platforms.
GoToMyPc also has a trial version. .. :)
