Will Women do nothing as Men are sent to Prison due to IMBRA?

From Gary Bala: Immigration Lawyer

July 23, 2008

Homeland Security and Immigration are working on that IMBRA Domestic Violence pamphlet required by the IMBRA law to be made available to all K Visa (and Adjustment of Status) applicants because "K nonimmigrants may face a higher risk of domestic violence in relationships arranged by International Marriage Brokers (IMBs)".

It will translated into 14 languages and posted on the Homeland Security and Immigration websites.

IMB and Agency and Tour Operator websites should probably post it too.

The domestic violence pamphlet should be available sometime in September 2008.

For now, Homeland Security is soliciting public comments until September 19, 2008.

Shame on you Rio for promoting that Lie of trafficking. I would like to see some proof. Not accusations without any substance by Gender Feminists but some proof. There were the same trafficking accusations made about the Olympics. Nothing was shown to have had any trafficking.

It is a Feminist lie a tactic to impose Fascism on one Gender using the power of Government. I urge all Single US Men to violate this Law. A massive Civil Disobedience campaign is needed to safeguard our rights.

I'm sorry, it sounds in your question as if you are protesting immagrants being informed via a pamphlet about the risks etc of domestic violence. What exactly is so bad about this?

The link posted by The Mrs. suggests that disclosure of information is the problem. Well, we already expect some disclosure of information (i.e. sex offenders lists) if it's something like that for domestic violence, then because foriegn women are vulnerable when they go to marry a man abroad (immagrant status, no close friends or support, not sure of the country/customs etc) I don't see a problem with that. Nor do I see how it can lead to arrests.

Yes, they will do nothing, they are dead.

"International Marriage Brokers Regulation Act (IMBRA) responsible for 14000 murders of Russian Women every year."

This will likely only be necessary in the case of traffickers; surely you would want to see people punished for that, right?

Which men are being sent to prison due to IMBRA?

Your post actually has no proof of this, nor does it even state that it COULD happen.

Your links didn't work but I looked into and really is this a male issue... It may be more difficult for you to purchase a wife... I like what this one guy said "We believe that foreign women are at least as smart as American women and deserve to be treated with respect. Most of all, we believe in love." Yet you have to purchase it... I like how they blame feminist but only two women and 8 men are the ones trying to pass this law. Honestly I don't care as a soldier I have seen the way some men (not all) treat foriegn women... Not good! Marriage broker sounds like long term pimp...

Honestly though from what I have read what is wrong with it? It clearly states that the foriegn women would receive translated documents in her language on the future husbands criminal background, check sex offender database, the broker would then get signed permission from the girl before releasing her address to the male client, and then provide her with a pamphlet explaining US rights to her? Where is that a bad thing...

Since their has been cases of the men killing this women shouldn't the true respect to these women be protection and transparency?

I think this would help american women also when picking a mate... Can we get this?
