In those days, they wrote articles without any fear of favour. When the press releases a news or writing an article, the govt thinks that the news and articles are against it. A political leader's son who came late to a bar where he orders something, the girl working there tells that the service time over. He get angered and shoots the girl. someone tried to hide the fact. it is the press who did its works and brought the criminal and sent to jail. A rich man while driving the car on drunken mood killed some persons who are in platform of the road. As usual, a driver accepted the crime.. It is the press which brought the truth and the rich punished. it is the press who gives details of people's sufferings. it is the press which shows the malpractices in the govt offices. Even, ministers, politicians are threatening the press not to release news/articles against the govt. The people should realise that the press are for them But, when press is suffering people not supporting. The press is now just another Big Business. They report things and slant them in such a way as to help their bottom line. They no longer care about their responsibility to the public. Look at the fake coverage Baracka gets. They will report none of the many negative things about him and embellish the positives. The MSM has lost my respect and that of many,many people. the press is for the press........one is ignorant if they think the press has their best interest at heart |
