So many people don't know about it, and worse, many people know and don't care. I think this is counter productive on every front, no exceptions. It goes against every principle that race relations advocates have fought to attain through out the years.

Obama has definite ties to the Nation of Islam. he employs member to this staff and IF he should be elected, he would appoint them to high positions in his government to repay the favors he owes them for their support.

the will promote the Black Liberation Theology as this is what he and his associates believe. anyone who denies these facts is simply hiding their heads in the sand and you know what that exposes.

Lets take this step by step - The NOI - is run by Farrakhan who has said some crazy stuff about the Jews / Jewish faith & whites. Ultimately - this religion is derived from the Muslim faith Islam & the followers stay pretty close to the teachings of the Koran. Farrakhans crazy social commentaries shouldnt be the highlight of this religion - because HE has issues with other groups doesnt mean that they ALL do. Plus Farrakhan is human - capable of making mistakes, so while he seems to be good at instilling Muslim principles into a LARGE number of people he also is bad at not having an open mind & heart. Sometimes you have to separate the group from the leader - not ALL Christians were KKK members - but some KKK members were Christian. Plus the NOI isnt a cult - they have plenty of great NEW leaders that you NEVER hear about - because they ARENT saying the crap Farrakhan said. These NEW leaders are not hateful - but again you wont know that because the media spends all their time preaching about the travesty that is Farrakhan.

Second - the choice to use the NOI security team is a way to curry favor with the NOI members / constituency. Its a political move & Obama is in Politics - right? Our government is in bed with the Saudis & their oil - do you even WANT TO KNOW how we curry favor with them??????

The upside is that these security guys perform security - they arent cheering for Obama in the background or passing out flyers that say "brought to you by the NOI". they arent intimidating his followers or campaign workers - they arent recruiting for Farrakhan. So they are doing a JOB that they were contracted to do - no different than a Bhuddist being apart of his security detail - their choice of religion has no bearing on Obama's true objective

I'm Jewish, and even I can't say this really bothers me. If they are American citizens without criminal records and they work hard for the Senator, I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to do their jobs. Obama himself is not a member of the Nation, and I trust his judgement. It seems as if you're trying to create controversy where none exists.
