What do you say to a client who tells you what to do and tries to intimidate you? |
there is this client who keep on coming back, even if i am not th offficer of the day, he keeps on looking for me and i always find myself explaining to him over and over again what to do with his problem (its a loan follow-up with other agency). I dont want to be hiding but I feel i have more important things to accomplish but he refuses to leave...and our converstion is a complete waste of time bcoz, i dont think he ever listen to me and heed my advice...He would call our office discussing non sense and out of topic... wrong analysis boy wonder! I could have sense if thats the case, he doesnt sound interested in me? and im not kidding anybody? Your concerns are perfectly valid and professional. Given that, your best course of action is to professionally take your concern to your supervisor. The supervisor has the responsibility to correct this situation. In this way, your job will not be in jeopardy from taking the advice of well-meaning strangers; for that is what we are here. Maybe he sees in you a beautiful and intelligent woman and he cannot keep away from you? are you kidding me? the guy digs you, and is just working up a way to ask you out. If you don't like him, next time he pulls this, tell him to hold on for a second as you'll be right back, you need to finish faxing something to your fiance. he'll stop coming back. Talk to a coworker and explain the situation. Each time he comes to you tell him that he should see so-in-so with his question as is an expert. Be consistant. explain the situtation to a supervisor and see if he or she keep him at arms length & answer him very shortly |
