Does Power Point 2003 have to be upgraded now?? |
I've had my Dell for about 18 mos. and it came w/ Microsoft Office 2003 w/ PowerPoint. I now need to use it for school, but it keeps telling me I have to upgrade to Office 2007 (for $300!!) When I try to contact tech support, I'm told by both Dell and Microsoft that because my warranty and my "trial" of Office 2003 have both expired, they're going to charge me just for sending an email to ask about this. Am I missing something? Where's the customer service? Your trial has expired so technically you have no right to use the office 2003, as Office 2007 is the latest office, they are telling you to upgrade. If you have bought the Office 2003, you need to tell them you have and it is not a trial or register that you bought it to Microsoft. You can still use Office 2003, I use it myself. |
