I would like to join delta sigma theta in fall of 2009. any advice on how to do so would help!?

I would like to join next fall. this will be my senior year and I wanted to know do any members of this sorority think it's to late to try and get my stuff together. Here's a little background on my self. I am currently a junior, my gpa is a 2.4( I plan on having a 2.9-3.0 by rush.) and the only community service I performed was in high school(I was in the interact club). The only organization i'm in is the mass communications student ssociation and I currently hold the office of Public relations co-chair. Within the next few weeks I plan on joining habitat for hummanity and I would also like to volunteer with some sort of counseling group. When I get back to schooI I plan on joining the NAACP and my school's pep squad. Any advise on what other orginizations to join and any other steps would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I've always wanted to be a member of this sororiy so even if I don't make the cut for undergrad, I would still plan on joining grad chapter.

Seems like you are on the right track as far as joining organizations...I would just focus on your grades because a 2.4 is quite low....Also I would definitely advise that you get to know my sorors on campus and allow them to get to know you. I say this because even if you meet the requirements of for joining DST, if you don't get the votes you need, then you will not be invited to become a member.

AT this point I would focus on your grades, and continue performing community service.
