Hp dv 2700 or vaio VGN CR 36G??

i am confused between the 2 notebooks. I know the configuration of vaio is better but HP is cheaper and has a better service ive heard.
i really like the vaio luks and can afford it too if i can get an assurance dat besides from jus being a brand name it can provide good performance also.
will be using my laptop for movies, music, photoshop, little bit gaming and also MS office and browsing internet.

Also does the vaio 36G has the same glossy finish as the 35G??

I know the HP site can configure the laptop according to vaio.. but im not too sure if dat is possible in india too..is it?
