Would you move across country for your work? |
about a year ago i moved to florida for a company. i started to work there when they came to florida. used to be in chicago. not a bad job and i liked it to a point. the company has it's benefits but at the same time it does suck because it isn't the way a company should be. anyways now they have decided to move back to chicago. i'm not sure if i should go or not.... i made a life in florida that i absolutly love and the just the environment done here. i am not ready to go back and deal with the chicago lifestyle again. the benefit of moving back would be my family and friends. but it hasn't been as bad this past year with not seeing them as often. we visited back and forth.. what is your thought on it? should i stay and try to find another job? i work in customer service in the office by the way and that is kinda of what i'd be looking for another job in.... thanks for reading... =) sounds like you hate the job. I would not move back personally, but I don't know how marketable you are. The hell with this company. Do not quit until you have another job in Florida but, by all means, look for that other job like now!!! If the recession creams the job market down there you might just have to stick with this company, but, for now, look for that local job. Like you said you can always visit friends and family in Chicago. It is not like you are deserting them after all. I would move because family and friends are more important to me that any job in the world. Friends are forever and there when you need them. This is just my opinion. Use your own judgment and go with your heart!!! If its makes good money or if its ur best option then.. i..um..guess... |
