Hey, so i parked my car. after a couple hours i came back and realized my car got booted by the dpt.? |
i was booted at 1230 in the afternoon. i called the number on the ticket asking why i got the boot for?(i have no unpaid tickets or fines) and the customer service said i have no idea why you got booted and told me to come to the office tomorrow at 11am. so i went to their office asking why i got the boot and they said they made a mistake. is there anything i can do for a wasted whole day of inconvience? You could sue the dpt. for an unreasonable seizure of your car since it was seized during the time that the boot was on it. Undoubtedly, this will me much more trouble and expense than it is worth, though, because you don't have any damages to show. So no, there really isn't anything you can do. You must live in my area. I doubt you can do anything, it's probably one of those things you will just have to bend over and take it up the tail pipe and move on. And if there is anything you could do it would probably just be a bigger waste of time for you. yeah...you can go on yahoo and complain about it. |
