Unfair deductions ? from wage when being sacked?

got dismissed for the following.
I confirm ye decision to dismiss you due to some other substantial reason , ie there was no other work avialable for you following a positive search.

Basically i was a retail guard, security rules state personal belongings must be locked in a locker , i was on my break in my security office , working still on my break using the CCTV and was caught with my mobile phone on me.

My question is : Should i still have the below deductions made ?

Bare in mind i was basically sacked / redundant plus i had my own licence before working for this company so therefor i had to do the course twice although obviously passed first time as i had my sia badge and certificates

by signing this document you agree to the following :

If the company provides you with Shills for training and a sia licence and you leave the company for whatever reason before completing 3 years service , the company shall deduct a contribution towards these costs as follow :

ran out of space on original question

If the company provides you with Shills for training and a sia licence and you leave the company for whatever reason before completing 3 years service , the company shall deduct a contribution towards these costs as follow :

upto 1 years service - 拢450 deducted
upto 2 years service - 拢300 deducted
upto 3 years service - 拢150 deducted

If only the sia licence or the skills for training is provided, the above deductions will be recovered throught the wages

Sorry these ar legal deductions you agreed to these when you signed the terms and conditions of employment.

What can be deducted from your pay?
Your employer is not allowed to make a deduction from your pay unless:

your contract says they can - and your employer has given you a written copy of the part of the contract which says so, or a written explanation of it, before making the deduction
it is required or authorised by law, such as income tax, national insurance or student loan repayments
you have agreed in writing to a deduction before the conduct takes place for which your employer proposes to make a deduction

Smile! You've already been videotaped.

Stuff like this makes me wonder why libertarianism is still getting a bad rap. And yah, it sounds like if you left the company within three years you're screwed on the deductions.

motherfrackers .. i'd 'contribute' a little firebomb after hours
