Postal service--people who work for post office?

i got a letter in the mail stating my test date and a booklet--i thought i had to take a civil service test??/ what IS a civil service test?/

Not sure exactly what a civil service test is these days, but that isn't what you'll be taking. You'll be taking a test designed specifically for the post office.
