How can I install Office 2000 Service Pack 3 if I don't have the SR1 Premium CD?

I get as far as a message which says "Install the SR1 CD." A tech friend said I should use "browse" and get to DATA.MSI. Okay. I'm at DATA.MSI. Now what do I do?

Right click?

Then what do I click?

NOTE: SR1 IS ON MY PC BUT THE INSTALLER WIZARD ASKS ME TO INSTALL THE CD, WHICH I DON'T HAVE.

That is why I am using "browse" and going to DATA.MSI.

This article explains why the SR-1/SR-1a Update requires your Office 2000 CDs and why you may not be able to install the SR-1/SR-1a Update if you do not have the CDs available.

Note: An msi file is an installation file. You might get it to update if you install the data.msi file by couble clicking on the file first. After it is installed, then try to add the Service Pack 3.

SR1 is the MultiLanguage Pack for Office 2000. SP3 helps with the installation and runing of SR1. But if you don't have SR1, use this link for help:
