Can I sue my internet company for their horribly poor service?

I've been with my internet service provider for 1 year exactly. During that 1 year all they've given me is grief. There were times that the internet was down for days, even weeks. Currently my internet has been unstable for 2 weeks. The connection cuts on and off repeatedly and everyday goes down for hours at a time. This has been going on for exactly 2 weeks. I have called them plenty of times but still my problem has not been resolved. On the 13th of March 2008, my internet went down. When I asked their main office what happened, they said they did some maintenance and literally broke the internet, so my whole area was affected. Until now, March 27, it is still faulty and unstable. When I ask them if they have done something about it they said it is already fixed, which isn't true. Can I sue them over this and all the times they have been unreliable? Thank you.

I think your question is actually "Can I win a lawsuit against my internet provider". Certainly you can file a lawsuit against them, but you should carefully research the agreement you made with them when you purchased their services. The fine print may well indicate a percentage of up time and average speed that they were agreeing to provide you with. If they are providing above what they promised, then your lawsuit will be pointless. Honestly, I would just switch companies or at most demand a refund for the weeks you were without service. Filing a lawsuit will probably be far more hassle than it is worth, and you probably won't win.

they will bury you with bu ll sh yt just dont do buisness with them and tell the world which service scre wed you using an extremely se xy avitar with their name woohoo

they broke the internet? sounds like a telstra job to me, seek legal advise through a no win no fee provider
