What does "expected version not found" mean in regard to service packs needed to install MS Office 2007? |
I'm attempting to install Word 2007 on a friend's computer. She has the XP operating system. I downloaded the 2003 SP1 and the SP2, but when I attempt to install the second (more recent) service pack, I get an error message (saying "expected version not found"). I'm not sure how to resolve the issue to actually install the software on her computer. What service packs are you trying to install?? do you have Office 2007? If you don't you cannot install the service pack for office 2007. |
