Can a tourist go to a doctor in the US?

Can a tourist go to a free doctor in the US without a problem. I know of a few offices meant for "walk in's" who offer free services to residents and citizens, at no cost. What is the procedure for non residents / non citizens. My roommate is here studing from abroad and needs to know.

You bet! And, just for future information, planned parenthood DOES see men! That's where all of my male friends go for free STD testing.

Yes non residents/ non citizens can go to the doctors here in America. The free clinic should see your friend with no problem or you could go to the hospital where they HAVE TO see him. Its the law.

Yes they will take money from anyone. Probably they will have to pay. But the school should have a nurse that the tuition helps pay for.
