Say I am sick, but I do not need medical attention, can I get a doctors note?

Can I just go to the office, tell them I'm sick and then they can give me a note? I don't want to pay for service but I am legamately sick. What can I do?

You can have a certain amount of sick leave before you need a sick certificate.

Most employers and universities only require a doctors certificate if you are off for more than two days. Please check the rules for your university or employer it may be more or less time.

In order to get over having to visit the doctor you could put in an appearance after two days and then take a further two days off. If you are at work or university for two or four hours they can't ask for a certificate for this day.

If you have something that needs treatment it is best to see the doctor and pay the bill for it.

Most Doctors won't give you a medical excuse unless they actually examine you. You may have to pay for a doctor's visit if you have to have one.

its pretty easy to get a doctors note for work.. but ya gotta pay for it.. they will examine you and then give you the note.. so without paying for there services theres no way there going to give you one..
