Nuva Ring or Ortho Evera?

Its only been 2weeks that ive been on the ring and I am a emotional wreck!! I went off on the Sprint customer service agent & my boy friend today. He was yelling WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!! Thats when it clicked in my head that this thing is makng me crazy!!! My doc put me on it due to the fact that I have Ovarian failure and need estrogen in my system, she let me choose my birth control & this was my choice because I dont like pills, they make me sick. Im bloated, have gas, hungry more than before, tired, and turning into a cry baby and a raging maniac!!! Do I have to be on it longer for the side effects 2 subside? Has any1 had any major complaints about the patch? I know the estrogen level is higher, but what else? I did research but I had to ask, I contacted my gyno office & im waiting for her response. I think im taking the ring out tonight to save my sanity

I have been on the ring for almost a year and I've never had those side effects. Since you have low estrogen levels it's probably effecting you more than the average woman because it's boosting your hormones. I would stay on it for a few months because it'll take your body a while to get used to the levels. It's not going to happen overnight. I think no matter what you try you're going to have the same effects

...:::I have been using NuvaRing for a month now and is so confortable i even forget i have a it... i haven't have any side effects and it really help to have a less pain full period i think what you have is emotional try to think positive when it comes to situations that you think you cant control yourself pray to God that's the best thing you can do to change you and change to a different birth control method ..so far for me the NuvaRing* is the best!!!:::..

I used the patch for about 3 years and it worked great for me, not weight gain, no mood swings , no side effects worth being concerened about. im a pretty small 4 11' and 108 lbs. the dr. thought it would be too strong and make me gain weight, but it worked out just fine. the only reason i stopped taking it was because i felt that maybe it was time for a change, and the change sucked so im goin back. just try it and see. good luck
