To install powerpoint on my computer do I use Microsoft Office if so do I use the service pack or media pack?

I'm not sure if I should install the Microsoft Office service pack or the Microsoft Office meida pack, all I really need is powerpoint and word, can anyone help me? Should I even be using Microsoft Office for this?
