How do I find my car???

My girlfriend "sold" her car while I was in Iraq. The guy never paid, took the bill of sale and disappeared!

We still have the title. It's been 4 months. We have his first name and an old phone number that's out of service (cell phone).

The police won't help b/c there was "no crime committed". The Civil Affairs office can't do anything without a last name. We know where he worked, but due to privacy issues, they can't give out his name. I'm trying to avoid getting a subpoena and paying lawyer fees.

Please help me!!!

They have his name, but no contact information.

Ask where he worked if they will just forward on a request to communicate to save the guy from losing the car. Most places will forward something like that; they just won't tell you how to find him

Go to your internet www.publicrecords.com put in his name
and see what happens. You may have to pay a fee but they are pretty good at finding someone. Good Luck!
