Perfect of wasting money gaming machine...!!!
64 bit OS doesn't support as many game as 32 bit OS
Vista can't recognise RAM more than 4GB
Too weak graphic card for too large screen.

I suggest you 3GB RAM
2x GeForce 8800GT in SLI
Dual boot OS (XP & Vista)
20"/22" LCD monitor
4.1 speaker system
weaker soundcard (if you're not an audiophile)

yea that seems like a decent deal

yea thats ight, but if you get an AMD PHENOM it prob be a lil cheaper, intel is ok, not as good as AMD, AMD is also cheaper/

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

that's a very nice machine, but seems a little pricey to me. perhaps it's all the extra support you'll be getting.

Seems a bit pricey, 6 gigs of ram is nice, but I'm not sure Vista can even support that much. Vista upgrade??? at this price it should come with Vista installed, not an upgrade. I just built my own pc: 2.6 dual core, 4GB DDRs2 Ram, SLI MoBo w/ on board sound, (2) 1 GB DDR2 graphics cards (SLI linked together for 2GB of video) 160GB hard drive, DVD +/-R/RW, 19 inch Flat Screen LCD 3000:1 monitor for under $1,000. Has XP Pro though, since Vista still sucks. Built it my self though, so no labor cost, cept my own cussing.

That is a fair price for what you get there. But you could get it cheaper if you were to build your own computer with the same parts.

You can start by scrapping Norton. Thats just a waste of money since you can get better anti virus programs not to mention free. Also get rid of Microsoft office. You can download that for free via torrents.

Then what i would do is head over to http://www.newegg.com/ if you live in the USA and start building your computer. You will get the same quality but cheaper.

Also get rid of the 4 year plan. Thats not necessary they just want to milk you for all the money they can. If a piece of hardware is going to breakdown it will be in the first year. And that will be covered in your default warranty.

So if you do all of this i would say you could get the price down to around 2500-3000.

Good luck

Only 2 USB, that's not enough. Otherwise it looks good.

Intel E8400 3.0Ghz 45nm dualcore = $240
Abit IP-35 Pro = $150
EVGA 8800GT = $200
150GB Western Digital Raptor 10k rpm = $170
Seagate 500GB/32mb cache HDD = $120
4GB (2 X 2) A Data ddr2 800 RAMs = $77
Antec 900 casing = $100
Thermaltak Purepower 500W = $45
Vista Home Premium 64 bit = $110
Chimei 22" LCD = $210
Total = $1422 a saving of $1800+ after router, printer , wireless adapter added in!
