Microsoft Office Excel Expert?

I am in the midst of a very important project and I'm struggleing with a certain step.

It tells me to figure "service charges" for certain customers, using formulas....

I don't understand the "formula"-thing... and how to use it.

The formula is =.0325 * (B4 - D4 - C4)

I'm no "expert" but a formula in excel would be something like if you wanted to add 3 cells together, you would write in a new cell =A3+B3+C3 and then it will give you the answer. If you give me a bit more info about the problem than i might be able to help you write the formula that you need.

just take the formula and type it in a cell and then push enter.

in the column for the service charges type"=B*(1+G/365)^30-B"

B is the balace, G is the APR.

You type the formula including the leading equal sign in the cell you want the answer to appear. It looks like the service charge 3.25% of the number you have in B4 less the amounts in C4 and D4
