Is it true that 23 million jobs were created during the 90s vs 6 million since Bush took the oath of office?

Also, were a large chunk of those 6 million jobs in the services industry and retail sales?

.No, you are way off base

No, it is not true.

no

No, it's a lie.

Where did you here that?
Where are your sources?

Well.... It is technically true... but not really true.
It wasn't a net gain of 23 million jobs. Most economists say it was a net gain of about 4 million jobs.
Most of those jobs were in the middle nineties during the Tech boom. Almost all of the internet companies (ten of thousands of them) started in the 90's. Most of those jobs disappeared quickly when the bubble burst in 99'. That is what caused the recession that Bush inherited in his first term... that is why he made those initial tax cuts in effort to stimulate the economy.
If you use just the gross job numbers... about 15 million jobs were created in the last 7 years. There is only a 6 million "net gain" though. 9 million jobs either dried up (real estate, manufacturing, tech support) or moved out of the country.

Two people below are completely wrong.
#1. Unemployment reached its lowest rate in History in 1984... 2.7%
#2. Current unemployment is between 4.5 and 5.7% depending on the state.
The US unemployment was 12-15% during the Great Depression of the 1930's. That is the highest ever.
Have those clowns below site a traceable source.

You know it's not true.
Go vote for Hillary or Obama and watch the companies shut their doors.

no and the jobs that were created in the 90s were due to the .com boom and as that imploded they lost there jobs which is why Clinton handed over a recession to Bush.

Unfortunately, those numbers are pretty accurate. There were actually slightly fewer than 23 million created then and slightly more than 6 million during the Bush administration.

Your numbers aren't quite right.
But here is a question for you...
Are you saying that Clinton created the .COM boom? And that Bush somehow destroyed it?

No. I don't believe so...unless, of course, you have a source.

Oops!!, you are stirring up trouble.

Well, he is.

Well, let's see if we can figure it out:

The US population grew between 2000 and 2008.
Unemployment went down between 2000 and 2008.

So I'd have to say your numbers have been suspiciously tampered with.

(Typical brain dead liberal!)

maybe, if you are talking about 23 million jobs total vs. 6 million jobs net.

No, that's not true.

Hey, I am back, for now. LOL
I do not know if the facts are correct. Were the 23mil new jobs all in the manufacturing sector?? Doubt it.
There are high paying "service" jobs. Not every one is @ McDonald's.

Absolutely not.

You're figures are WAY off.....

Do your homework... don't believe the media or those on YA.

Find out for yourself.

I doubt those figures from the 1990s are correct.
What is true is that unemployment was the lowest in history at the end of Clinton's term. And the middle income wage earner prospered more.

labor department reports are really just guesses . but your #s seam about right . the true unemployment rate is close to 12% , about 18 - 20 million out of work right now . more to follow when the economy totally crashes soon . dow will bottom at 8400 .

All I know is the illegal immigrants are not helping. Since they work under the table, employers have no reason to hire hard working honest Americans anymore. It's very sad

Nope and wal mart aint much of a living (just ask a lib)

Yes it's true that 23 million were created in the 90's I am not sure of the number under Bush but I can tell you that it was not that many as a bunch of jobs have been outsourced to China and India.
