Are you passionate about your work? |
Im about ready to graduate college and I really have no clue what I really would like to do. I do know though that an office job and food service or retail is something Im trying to stay away from. If you have found that awsome job how did you know it was something you wanted to do? What has inspired you? When I turned 30 I wanted to do something completely new. I also wanted to get over my shyness and panic attacks. So I decided to do an introductory 10 week course in Counselling. I knew I would have to get up and talk in front of other students, and involve myself in group discussions. I didn't expect to go back the second week, but I found it so interesting that I continued with the whole course, then did the intermediate (20 week) course, and finally I did my diploma (1 year). I think I missed one day in the whole 2 years. I am now working as a counsellor and I absolutely love it. My confidence has improved so much and I have changed so much as a person since that first day almost 4 years ago... |
