Teddy bear for a present?

has anyone else seen these commercials for the vermont teddy bear service? the gist of it is that they deliever a teddy bear to someone for you and in the ad, a woman in an office gets one, all the woman gather around and squel and go nuts about how fantastic it is........uummm.....get real......why would an adult want a teddy bear.......if I got that as a present, he'd be cut off cause thats a loosy present for a woman....
anyone else agree? opinions please

ok, no one should ever buy a teddy bear for a present for an adult, especially a woman, women dont want teddy bears........women arent children....ugh

teddy bears are cute and fuzzy and many ladies love getting them with flowers and candy . I'm adult and i still love my stuffed pets lol
who to say a teddy bear just for children my mom was very ill and dieing my dad went out and bought her a big stuffed bear so she could cuddle it it was more for comfort for her she passed a few days after that and i brought it home to remind me of her .


it seem to me you feel adult gifts always as to be unfun and useful like a very boring life where the fun in adult gifts unless there sex toys then sure lol plus not ever woman wants kids that's so stereotyping women

a present is a gift, folks should not be ungrateful when they receive a gift , the person who gave the gift gave it a lot of thought,

if i gave you a teddy , every time you looked at the lame thing you would be reminded of me good or bad

It's not a lousy present. It took effort to arrange te delivery of those beautiful bears. Any woman who is not greedily awaiting diamonds would be happy that her man thought of her.

Yes, I agree. A teddy bear is a fine present for a 5 year old, but not for an adult.

I am an adult but I just LOVE teddy bears. I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all.

Even my aunt has a collection - baby dolls. She had them on her bed.

It doesn't matter what you collect, as long as you enjoy it.

well i have a collection of teddys and i love them ,and when im given a new 1 i think that is nice so we all are diffeent next time give it back and dont ever recieve gifts again ,simple !

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this is stupid. They have two commercial and they are soo long and soo stupid, I find myself talking at the tv now and saying rude things......anyway that's a really horrible gift and it is not sexy or cute it's just lame.
