Obama has no experience? Weigh in!?

Obama has no experience? Weigh in!?
I just want you guys to weigh in about why you think Obama doesn't have enough experience?
This is what I think:
You experience talkers are funny! Bush had tons of experience, so did Rumsfeld and Chenney. Bush also had a relative in the white house at one point in time, and he was governor of Texas, and he still ****** up! The only experience established politicians in America have is protecting special interest groups and screwing over the American people! Some of the best presidents of this country had very little experience aka JFK, Ronald Reagan, and Abraham Lincoln
.He has ten years experience in public office, more than the two other Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton (six-plus years as Senator from New York) and John Edwards (six years as Senator from North Carolina). Barack's first eight years spent in the Illinois senate before his two years (and counting) of service in the U.S. Senate, should not be forgotten. Obama has served in the Illinois state senate, the united states senate, the foreign relations committee, &the Veteran's affair committee. That's more than enough experience.

Damn! smartert.. , don't get your panties all in a twist. Since you seem to think being governor of California is enough experience to be president. Would you vote for Governor Schwarzenegger, who also an actor like Reagan had little to no experience before entering office, and alot less than Obama has :P

About experience, it usually tells the true side of a candidate, through their voting history.

Obama doesn't have much experience or voting history, so some are nervous that he will do what he says.

I don't trust any politicians at this point.

Sorry, don't think it's enough experience.

Has Obama ever been presented with a budget that's 3" thick and understood what's in it?

Has Obama ever supervised a staff of hundreds and known what all of them are working on?

He needs executive experience.

Every major reform in America has been driven by leaders who were not experienced.

Obama is the right choice because we need a change. Voting for experience only guarantees more of the same old crap.

obama would be laughed at for being such a lightweight if his skin tone was a bit paler.

Bush actually didn't have much experience, which is why he chose the extremely expereicne Dick Cheney as VP.
Texas has a very weak Governor with at least 7 officials that have more power then the Governor.

no,it's not.he is a junior senator.3 years is hardly qualification for being president.during that three years he voted present to avoid dealing with the nations problems.he is all about gun control.that alone is enough .those are our rights he is stepping on.i'm sorry.the presidency of the usa is not a on the job training coarse for a guy who hasn't even ran a grocery store.you know what a junior senator votes on during this time of being a junior?everything the party tells him to.he is already part of the washington machine.he is a puppet to kennedy and the like.

I don't think anyone actually red anything past the headline of your question - their answers demonstrate their ignorance.

Obama definitely does not have enough experience being part of the corrupt political machine that has dominated washington for decades. He hasn't had any time to build relationships with or owe favours to pandering lobbyists and political cliques. He hasn't even had time to develop any major scandals!

In conclusion, Obama doesn't have very much experience at all - and I consider this the best reason why he is the best man for the job. That and the fact that Clinton would lose to pretty much any republican she ran against - especially if it is McCain and his independent bloc.

I think people who say "Obama doesn't have enough experience" probably wouldn't vote for him even if he did. I don't even bother trying to get involved in a discussion with these individuals, because their mind is already made up. Just like Robert De Niro said, if we were all voting based on the who has the most experience, I guessed we would have all backed Dick Cheney. Sen. Obama doesn't have as many years in Washington, but (as you pointed out) many ex-presidents had little or no Washington experience before getting elected. I think they dislike Sen. Obama for other reasons, and use "lack of experience" as an excuse.

Obama has plenty of experience in public office. And, for all the people who are harping on experience, I'd ask them why they didn't support Bill Richardson!

Go sell your snake oil somewhere else. The guy doesn't have the stuff to tackle the incredible problems this country is facing. Hillary does and she's got my vote.

Smarterthanyouallday: nice answer!

Whatever you say, we won't change our mind. Hillary is the best candidate.

Why should people let you and obama followers force his name down their throats? Just because he is black? To make Oprah happy? Oprah's billions are not enough for her to stay happy?

O-Bambi is a joke just like you. He has no experience and can't be trusted. Hillary should be going all the way into the white house.

Jenny you hit the nail right on the head!
