How do I contact public records?

Intelius has me listed as living at 2 addresses. One is correct and one is wrong. The customer service person said that this has nothing to do with my social security number, but just what was found in public records. I asked her where she got this info from and she said public records and didn't indicate how the info was obtained. She said that if I fax them, they can remove my information from the site, but how do i know if someone is trying to impersonate me? I checked my credit report and called the social security office. So far nothing is out of the ordinary, but where do I go from here?

You should be able to dispute information on your credit report if that is where the incorrect address is listed. If you did live at that address at one time there is nothing you can do. Just as long as your credit report looks good I would not worry.
