Why there is no improvement in services at RTO offices in TAMILNADU?

I am in Tirupur: It is a city with more two wheelers and cars: Daily about 100s vehiles come fresh registration and new license,tax payment and etc work is high. But the RTO officials or the Government is not taking any steps to make good service; Suppose if a worker,employee or a men spend a day he looses about Rs 200 per day: I find about 500 people ( on average ) are spending the day to complete the work: So daily Rs one lac worth man power is wasted by the RTO ,Tirupur only:

I find only brokers are doing most of the work,even writtign the register: The spdt,cashiers and other officials are indulging in getting money only:

Why cannot the higher officials or the minister concerned take action to do best service to the public: You see an average 3 crore man power wasted per year in Tirupur only

Further there is no proper guidence for the public: So they have to appraoch the broker only. The PRO is in a cornor: nobody will distrub him;

When these will change???

Good and very valid question. This practice of bribery is causing a lot of loss to common man and this is predominant in Tamil Nadu. This condition will change only when all the people protest against paying bribes. Or, an Indian or an Anniyan should be born to punish all these people taking bribes. :)

There is no improvement in RTO office in Tamilnadu, because there is no improvements in RTO offices at all other States too.

Really same problems prevail at Maharastra, Gujarat, UP, MP etc. Dont worry it may improve after another 60 years or so. After all we have got Independence !!

The position is the same in all states and similar in all Government Departments al over the country. Only difference may be more or less corruption. However, Corruption in RTO offices is institutionalized by fixing a rate for each item and fixing a share for each employee. There are brokers moving around freely in the office and they collect money thereby safeguarding the people in the office.

If you are serious, take help of ACB or electronic media and plan for a trap. Also, encourage others to do that. Let the message go on.
