Can President Bush be recalled into service after leaving office?

As Commander in Chief the president holds the highest rank in the military. So after leaving the "service" in January '09 could there be a loophole by which he could be racalled into military service and demoted to 2nd Lt., for dereliction of duty, and put on an infantry platoon in Iraq? That would be justice.

It won't happen, he'll spend the rest of his days at his ranch cutting weeds, riding his bike and fishing but it would be justice.
