It allows the post office or a lawyer to act as an official signatory to document. For example if you need to renew your driver license in some states, I think this person can sign as a witness for you etc. I just can't remember the name of this service. He is called a notary. Notary Public In Australia its called a Justice of the Peace or JP for short sounds like its a Notary Public |
