How do i price a 20,000 square foot medical office for janitorial service?

5x per week 4 employees

Lets asume you pay $8 / hour / employee = $1280

multiply fringe benefis (50%)

$1280 x 1.5 = $1920

Lets say you want to make $1,000 / week

Administrative costs ~ lets asume a secretary, office supplies, accountant, petty cash, materials in bulk (say $2,000 / week)

You total is $5,000 but you must include overhead and profit (put an extra $2,000)

Now the total for this is $7,000

Divide the costs by the total square fotage ($7,000 / 20,000 SF) you have $0.35 / SF. This is the lowest price you can ask.

Start by asking $0.65 / SF and start negotiating.

I'm not in the janitorial business, but I do own four other types of businesses. It would seem to me that you need to figure out how much it would cost to clean, say 1,000 square feet and multiply it by 20, then add on your percentage.
If this is difficult for you, check with your local small business administration for help.
