Has anyone else noticed that the quality of Service from the Post Office has gotten worse?

As an eBay Seller and Online retailer for 7 years, I have noticed that while the post office continues to jack up the prices, Delivery times are taking longer and more packages are being lost.

As for my personal mail, my magazines always arrive late, and at least once a month one of my bills either goes missing or the bill is never rec'd.

I'd be interested in hearing if anyone else has noticed these problems. What can we do to get the attention of the post office?

One of the main problems is that the USPS is contracting out thousands and thousands of deliveries to non-qualified private contractors. In New Jersey a sex offender had his 12 year old son sign for his contract because he was not legally allowed to do so. Help fight poor service by asking your Congressperson to support House Resolution 282.

well affirmative action ruined the USPS initially however aside of that (done bun cant be undone) YES i am currently missing one incoming pkg, one outgoing pkg, and those are just the ones i KNOW about ! be sure to complain with your local PO and when applicable fill out USPS form 1510 you can find at their website www.usps.com

Did you know that if your magazines are arriving late you can have the post office do a publication delivery check? I believe the magazine or yourself can ask the post office to monitor specific publications to see when they are received at your local post office and the date that they are delivered to you. So in this way late deliveries can be tracked so as to determine where the bottleneck might be.
It is my personal experience that very few packages are 'lost', and Priority Mail that I deliver is usually received in the time period mentioned 2-4 days.
I would be interested to see specific information, rather than generalizations. Any examples of tardy deliveries?
