Why do Government and Public Service hating Republicans run for office?

Why do Government and Public Service hating Republicans run for office?

not only that, but they run for office and then do the opposite of what they campaign on - fiscal conservatism

What?

Because they marry the one they hate...

They see how the democrats abuse their office and want some of the payoffs. Why else? Anyone with half a brain know that every elected office above city council is sold before the election is over.

Most likely because we see what a disaster it is when Democrats run the Country.

How long did it take you to ask a question that made no sense?
Try again....

because all that hatred of government is mere rhetoric.

Republicans are opportunists. They say whatever serves their real purpose, which always has to do with the promotion and continuation of an absurdly and uselessly wealthy super-class.

if you can't beat em join em?

They don't.
Do you have a source?
Didn't think so.
Same goes for Democrats.

So they can steer government contracts to their business friends and pass legislation favorable to big business, unfortunately a lot of democarats do the same thing.

Republican rhetoric calls for smaller government which means lost jobs. It also means smaller budgets making them have to do only the important items rather then all the wasteful but more fun things.
