I am going to be interviewed for an office assistant position in the animal control service department?

What can I say if they ask me what are my weaknesses and my strengths?

Monster.com has excellent tutorials to prepare for interviews. It's not like you just walk in, and answer their their questions. You have to be prepared with your answers beforehand so that you dont stammer and freeze up.

Interviews go so much better when you are prepared. Do a self assesment of your self to make your list.

When they ask you about your strengths... dont be shy! This is your opportunity to sell yourself! Do you work well under pressure? Are you organized? Are you friendly and warm? Computer & internet savey? Great at following instructions? A strong work ethic? Excellent attendance record?

As far as a weakness, those are tricky. Be careful what you say here because you dont waht to scare them off. You might say that your computer skills are not what YOU want them to be and that you are going to be taking classes to advance. Show them a weakness, but follow it up with a statement on how you are working on it.

Depends on what they are are. Everyone is different and you don't want to give someone else's answer from YA. Your strengths are generally those things you like to do. Your weaknesses are going to be those things you don't like to do or are uncomfortable doing.
