Does anyone know a good tax service franchise? I'm looking to open a tax office that offers instant checks. There are a few out there, you can check out Franchise.com for a list but whatever you do don't go with Liberty Tax Service, My friend owns a franchise with them and they are total screw ups, they don't support their franchisee's at all and they take huge royalty fees and give almost nothing back. The whole marketing plan this past year was to give all their offices a couple of boxes of t-shirts and stupid foam crowns to hand out...LOL...what a joke. He was so mad, he's trying to sell his stores now. Turbo Tax is going to kill all independent tax offices. Here is a list of companies that offer tax service franchises and their startup requirements Try Tax Assist, if your in the UK. I think most people want to talk to some one directly about tax. I cant really see how Turbo tax can put you out of biz if you know what your doing, market yourself well and provide a reasonable level of service. How many people want to discuss tax avoidance on the internet. Everyone's circumstance is different and they need a good person who understands the tax and its loop holes. I own an express tax franchise for the past 3 years, and I'm very happy with them. I started my business with less than 10000 and currently i'm making over 100 a year. i would call them 888-417-4461 and ask. |
