If I started a computer cleaning service would you hire me...?

Bacuase I'm unemployed, and having serious trouble finding a good job. I was thinking of starting up a in home/office computer cleaning serive for desktops. Removing all the coolong fan's, PCI Cards, Graphics, sound etc. and cpu fan cleaning everything. Obviously not using water, but one of those air can's at walmart they sell with a nossle, and rag's that don't leave " FUZZIES " stuck all over everything. I was thinking it would be more than reasonable to charge $50.00 per computer also considering gas mileage going to there house or office etc. Only Local's though...due to mileage. What do you think, and would you hire someone like me...? and could I be succesful at something like this, I already know how to build and repair computers, I've learned it on my own terms for about 12 years now...I just cant afford the insurance etc. to replace a whole computer if they think I screwed it up, so thats why I'm offering a cleaning service instead, I think it would be more simple for me...

your rate seems reasonable, but one thing you have to consider, is this:
Most people who would appreciate, and understand the need for such a service, already do it on their own.

Second thing, pretty important, if u damage someone's $600 graphics card, or motherboard, even accidentally, it would set you back over 10 jobs worth of money...

go cheaper and we,ll talk also u should do laptop,s to i have one im using it right now!

Sorry to have to say this but I dont think many people would hire you if you are just using spray cans and non-fuzzies rags.

I have to be honest and say it sounds like a good idea, but unfortunately I would not pay $50 to remove the dust inside my computer if it can be done myself (with a compressed air can, or by other means).

I don't think you needn't really remove a card to dust it out.

I think a good avenue to look at would be larger users of computers, think call centers, where 3 minimum wage people come and answer phones all day. Spill their sodas, and get m&m pieces stuck under the keys. I used to work at one in college, there must have been 100 cubicles there.

You couldn鈥檛 charge $50 but you could make a lot of $$ if you got an account monthly to come properly clean their computers. I have not heard of anything in my area that is doing it. Good luck sounds like a great deal.
