Should all citizens men and women be required to sign for selective service to vote and run for president?

I think that if every US citizen who is willing to vote and run for office should have to take that responsiblity and sign up for selective service. We must fight to protect that freedom that our country has. However I think that should be extended to women as well. In other countries women have less rights than men and have to sign up so there is no reason why women in America cant do the same if they have just as much rights?

No. We are not, and should not be forced to be slaves of our government. It exists to serve US, not the other way around.

What do you mean "fight to protect that freedom"? That hasn't been the job of the military for over half a century. Forcing people to protect the profits of the rich is just wrong.

No, but the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces should always personnally walk point for his troops.

The law says now at 18 males have to register with the Selective Service even though there is no draft..but yes I agree with your question.

No, the draft or anything close to it is, no matter what the supreme court says, Unconstitutional by way of the 13th ammendment.

Sure. I'd be up for that. Anything less is discrimination.

I like that idea. That would help weed out alot of the politicans that were interested in running for office for the wrong reasons.
