How many miles away from the central office do you have to be to get DSL service? |
I'm less than .16 miles away, is that too far? As long as you have a phone jack you should be able to get DSL almost anywhere. I live 50 miles outside of the city and have DSL. It's really not a matter about how far you are anymore. It's that they just don't have the fiberoptic cable in yet to connect to the main office from there terminils. They used to say you were to far, but they have rrepeaters as long as the wire is in your vicinity |
