How I can move legally against a computer dealer who fail to give service to my p.c in the warranty period? |
One of my friend purchased a P4 p.c from Intelenet Infotech , Shiv Centre Building, Opp . Federal Bank, Sector-!7, Vashi , Navi Mumbai, on 2nd August 2006 and delivered to my home. Next day the service engineer came to my homefor a demo and found that the dvd writer is not working. So they again by saying they are unable to rectify the defect as they less experienced and unable to find out the fault so they will send the experienced engineer. But till today they had not send any engr. to rectify the defect inspiete of the repeated reguest on by telephone and also by personally visit to their office. And when we visited their office to demand replacement of the defected product , they had threatened, insulted and refused to to replace the product and also they demand service charge for repairing the product. what legal proceedings we can do against the dealer. It cause we much suffered frastation tension and mental agony and a huge of financial loss. Take them to small claims court. Many countries have a "small claims court" where you can sue hi u havent mentioned if u hv a branded comp or assembled one....if its assembled one u cant do much...but if its a branded comp like zenith, samsung or lg, u can directly contact the manufacturer n complain abt ur woes ...u can get the contact details on the net ........if its a assembled one u can goto the consumer court if they hv given u in writin that they will give u a warranty...... |
