At this point of history should women be included in selective service?

As we all know american women have the same basic rights as american they can vote, run for office, join the army. They also receive the same federal benefits and financial aid as men. So shouldnt they be included in the selective service system? Some fair weather feminsts and women in this country have demanded for equality for everything yet in an issue like that they either try to avoid it and play it off or against it. As an equal minded male I feel that they should either take this responsibility or lose other privileges. You cant want to be equal in one set of arena but then want traditional belefis to favor you in others.

They say equality but that's not what they want. Equality when requested has never meant equal. Yes they should be selective service required, it would be a step closer to equal. Women should go and die in war instead of whining that they aren't treated fair......the nerve

Currently if there was a draft women wouldn't be included, draft is based on selective service list.

If there was a draft, there is no question in my mind that they would be included.

What feminist fail to realize is that we ARE equal- BUTdifferent. If a woman wants to fight, let her. But I would not require women to fight on the fron lines.

So i'd say that we can't be systematic here and say because they re equal, they should do it.

well my views on a woman being in office or controll over a man are neigh...i dont think that its a womans place to run this country...woman and man should be equal in most aspects but as for running the country HELL no...i dont want to sit under a woman...women are ran by emotions...that's NOT what our country needs!!

I think that only people over age 50 should be included in the selective service, starting with the heads of state, and working down.

Not required as female recruiting goals have historically always met their requirement. As it is there is presently no draft and no apparent draft to come in the future.
