Has anyone ever used the paypal or ebay label mailing service? |
I am cleaning out my closet and selling my designer clothing on ebay. I was wondering how the label mailing service worked because I do not have a scale that measure digitally. What do they do if you package is under or over the weight you said it was?? Any advice would help. I am justing getting to the point where I don't want to drive to the post office everyday and if I could drop it in a mail box it would be great. well I sold tons of stuff on ebay. The best thing to do is get on ebay and invest in a postal scale. It's very cheap there are tons of them on ebay. It will be worth your while. If you put the wrong postage on your items then the post office will return them to you for more postage making the shipping time longer. Some people may give you a bad rating and then people will not trust buying from you. You need to know the weight of the items before posting to make sure that you don't get stuck paying your own postage and can put the weight in when you are selling. If you need more help getting started you can email me I'd be happy to help you post. I have used ebay's mailing labels a number of times, but it has been a while. What I do know is that you can guestimate the weight and use the post office's online calculator (it's available in ebay) and determine to the best of your ability how much it will cost to ship. Once you do this, you can print your label and attach it to your shipment. |
