PLEASE HELP!!! I have a problem with an install for updates the Windows XP service pack 3 at my task bar.? |
I have an install for updates the Windows XP service pack 3 at my task bar. I was set up to installed itself, and I used to click it and would install for me. However, I click to install this service pack 3, it told me that have a problem install it. Now I couldn鈥檛 get rid of with that icon from my taskbar. I don鈥檛 know how to get rid with it from my hard drive because I don鈥檛 know what the name is. I don鈥檛 want to remove my pack 2. I send email to Microsoft office support, didn鈥檛 get any answer. I log on everywhere didn鈥檛 see any pack 3 came up yet. PLEASE HELP!!! Right click on the icon if you want to open up its contents and possibly download what its offering. Something tells me there is a virus in youre computer. Do a virus scan. You can also use the "System restore" feature in your computer to revert the hard drive BACK to before this problem started. Try deleting all the intems in your TEMPORARY folder. There is no official Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3, so i wonder if the program you have downloaded is possibly a virus or spyware, so i'd run a anti-virus program such as http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-... and a spyware detector program such as Ad-Aware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad-a... :) Go to your desktop, start button , click on Help and Support and then (I think) it's performance and Maintenance....Any way look for the RESTORE option which is a great feature of Windows XP. If you make a major booboo you can restore your whole operating system to a previous time and date before the booboo occurred. |
