If Hillary Clinton is elected as US president should women be required to sign up for selective service? |
Having the right to vote and run for office are the fundamental right of an American citizen and women as well as men have that right. Regardless of whether or not Clinton is elected, women should have to sign up for selected service. If they want equal rights, fine. I support them. But with equal rights comes equal responsibilities, meaning that they have to register for the selective service as well. Works for me.... It doesn't matter whom is elected president - either everybody should be required to register or nobody should. I agree but like the person above me I don't think it matters about who the president is. Women want equal rights so they should have to pay the same dues Some feminists dont seem to care about that part. They step foreward to take their Affirmative Action handouts but hide behind a powder puff and a hoop skirt for why they dont have to enlist. Total effing contradictions. I agree. It's not fair to have only half of the population be FORCED to signed up for selective service. I believe that males AND females should serve their country, not necessarily in the military, but in a manner in which they can best contribute. It's only fair. I don't believe we even need Selective Service anymore. We have the greatest volunteer army in the world. USA! Why make it contingent on Hillary's election? Everyone should be required, or no one should be. They should be required to sign up for selective service regardless of who wins the election. I don't think ANYONE should have to sign up for selective service ! I don't see what one has to do with the other, but yes, women should be required to sign up. What does one issue have to do with the other? Why, if Hillary Clinton is NOT elected President, would you not still be crying for women to have to sign up for selective service? Why is it dependent on Hillary winning the election? She won't become pres. but if she did, none of that would matter anymore. We'd have way bigger probs than who serves. I think we should now...I mean we can do everything else so why should we not have to serve our country? I am not for a draft....but I think if there was to be one that women should serve. I could never kill anyone though. YES! |
