What is the best way to meet people these days? There seems to be many different dating sites and services out there. I鈥檓 not really interested in testing the waters in all of them to find which one is the best. I rather hear from others which one they preferred and why.

Even if you don鈥檛 do the internet dating thing then how are you meeting people of how did you meet your love one? Office? Church? Drive Through Window?

The best true love story I ever heard was told by my grandfather. During WWII he saw a picture of my late grandmother in a yearbook. His bunkmate who happened to be my grandmother鈥檚 cousin had brought his High school yearbook with him. My grandfather saw the picture wanted to meet her and the rest is history.

I don鈥檛 think anyone is doing that love at first look thing anymore. It鈥檚 seems more to be please fill out the forms and state your romantic intentions. Or the, "How you doing," approach.

Dating scenes have change so much. Before folks would hit the club and bam. You landed a bf/gf. now Its so played out. Folks are going to church, work place, sports bar or any place where they can meet the opposite sex at. aLL these sites like HARMONY are cool. but to really be seen. you must be presentful. Attractions comes when least expected. thats what i learned. filling out paper work or chattin online. works for some folks. not all.. its who know thats available and what your actually looking for. hope this helps

www.match.com is where I met my husband. And of the sites that are NOT free are better. Even a few dollars helps to weed out some of the odd ones. Be VERY honest and add a touch of creativity so your ad doesn't look like all the others.

I've tried online dating hasn't worked for me. It is hit and miss there, especially if you have morals. I've met a lot of weirdo's on the internet. I would try the gym or church. Get involved in some kind of community activity. I'm still working on that myself. I'm not very out going.

gigs, parties, friends of friends (generally through parties and gigs), at church activities maybe. generally by being sociable i think is the answer. i've never relied on the internet for finding love so i don't know if it's effective.

I have done the online dating for 2 years...it was a waste of money and a disaster with the people I met.
Then I met the most beautiful girl in a gift store...we started to talk...and now we are together. Simple as that!
Get out, talk to the people...something will happpen eventuallly.
