Question for a "Royal Mail Parcel service" manager?...?

As a follow up to my last question about Royal Mail/Post Office delays and backlog?......is it TRUE?...that when a packet is too big for a letter box and cant be delivered!...it is taken back to the main sorting office?...to be delivered back to the local office to be collected by the customer?...if it is true?...then i have a suggestion>>>why dont you return it to the LOCAL office for collection(as per your red card)?...then us (the customers) wont get annoyed at the self inflicted backlog/delays you cause...

you know , rather than ranting about it on here why don't you actually rant and complain to Royal Mail about this?
makes sense what your saying.
Why don't you try the "contact us" part of their website and ask them to explain why they use this time consuming method.
Personally I have not had any issues with the red cards and delivery,although my local collection office have crappy opening times.
They may only give you a bog standard answer as to why they do this but it may make you feel like you have been heard!?
Worth a try!

HM the Queen should be ashamed. If stamps had MY head on them, I'd soon sort out the rubbish Royal Mail.
