I know children that are being mentally and verbally abused but no one wants to investigate it?

I know of 2 children that are being mentally and verbally abused by their mother. She does crack and uses her daughter to hide her crack in places that I wont mention on here when the cops try to bust her. I have reported her to the local child services office but she has a friend there and she always knows when someone has called in on her. This has been going on for years and now she is starting in on my 17 month old grandson. Can anyone help? please serious answers only, there are lives at stake here.

It is my 17 month old grandson that is now being exposed to her crack habits. They threatened my daughter so she is scared and believe it or not no one wants to help especially in CAMPBELLSVILLE KY

What state do you live in??

In kentucky you can call Toll-Free: (800) 752-6200
Local: (502) 595-4550

Or you can call for more information or assistance with reporting.... Childhelp USA, 1-800-4-A-CHILD(800-422-4453

Here is Kentucky's web site it has alot of the info you need

http://chfs.ky.gov/dcbs/dpp/childsafety....

I hope this helps you!!!

have you called the police? Or tried a different child services department and explained the situation? They may be able to send a different case worker? That's my only suggestion that I can think of.

Every state has a toll free child abuse hot line to call and report abuse. Her friend will not be able to help her with this if what you say is true.

call your local dept. of social services and or the cops untill some one does something
go there and pick your state

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=dep...

what the hell is your 17 month old exposed to her for? you cant change the world but you can influence. You have to show good example first...need so much more info you need a pro

if no one is doing anything about it and police and child services are not helping, trying calling the local newspapers and tv stations.

See if you can find another child services in your area beside the one that her friend works at and if nothing else try to get some kind of evidence a video tape or something and then take it to the police or just try telling the cops on her and if nothing else see if the ER or a police can get you a different child services office that her friend doesn't work at or try telling the poice your situation and tell them about the friend of hers warning her before the child services get their or just go into the office or call and ask to speek with the manager and tell her or him what is going on with the friend and how she is telling the childs parent when they are coming to inspect the situation.

Can you keep your grandson away from her?
If your son or daughter is bringing your grandchild around this person you should start by going to the other grandparents and asking for their support. If you can not get them to back you up then find other family to help you out. If that is not possible then you have to call C.P.S. on your child and let them know whats going on. If your kid is into drugs then try an intervention with the rest of the family, sometimes the threat of losing a child is enough to help some addicts out of their disease.
Go to the D.A. about the crack head and tell the D.A. about what you've witnessed and what you've done to try to help, if they wont listen mention the local newspapers to cps.
When I was about 15 yrs old I met a woman who had 2 kids, one was a 3 yr old boy the other was a 2 yr old girl.
I started babysitting for this person and her live in boyfriend which by the way hated me for no known reason.
One evening while the couple was getting ready to go out I was sitting in the living room with the mom and I heard the kids SCREAMING NO. I ran to see what the problem was and the boyfreind was on their bed with both kids looking flushed (sick bastard!).
As soon as the mom left I questioned the kids and BOTH of them begged to come home with me and told me disgusting things.
I called the police. They came took a report and left.
My aunt told me to call C.P.S. directly the next day so I did.
Later that day the mother brought her kids to my house for me to babysit.
After about an hour the boyfriend came crashing through my door, beat me up pretty badly and took off with both of his victims.
I called the police very upset and one cops advice to me was to stay out of family business.
My mother threw a fit and the nothing really happened except I was prevented from seeing the children anymore.
About a year later the mom came over and apologized to me for not "believing" me.
She knew the whole time she just didn't want to be alone.
CPS finally took action when the mom brought her kids in for a well child check and the doctor discovered they both had a severe case genital warts.
Now, these kids would have been saved some of this crap if someone would have listened to the teenage babysitter.
But it did not stop here.
I was about 19 when the mom admitted to me that she had been sneaking the boyfriend in her window for a couple of weeks.
I called CPS, waited, nothing, so I called and talked to the supervisor of the department and let her have it.
I informed her of how and why I knew these kids and what had happened in the past, then just to be on the safe side I informed her that I was going to call the newspapers with what I had just told her.
The children were in foster care the next morning.
I have never again seen the kids I loved so much and I wonder what ever happened to them.
You hear of foster home horror stories but they are rare.
Even though I lost them I know they at least had a chance at a decent life.
That was back in the mid 80's, a lot has changed with cps since then Thank God.

Call the PD direct. Tell them the story and let them take over. I wouldn't cover for anyone if i it meant a child was being endangered.

I would speak to someone that is head of your local Dfacs office. Friend or no friend those children are number one priority. Have you gone to the captain or sheriff of your local police department? There has to be someone who will listen and take a look into this. Someone needs to listen before one of those kids get hurt or even worse. If your local children services office won't offer any help, I would call the local news papers, and news stations and get them involved. How many children are going unprotected and being put at risk. Something needs to be done. Good luck, and I hope that everything works out well for those children.
